What is Cambridge DELTA Module 1?
Cambridge DELTA Module 1: Understanding Language, Methodology and Resources for Teaching is an opportunity to explore teaching and learning English from different perspectives. This module is theory-based and it is assessed by a written exam with two papers.
But preparing for it can feel overwhelming: input to process, new methodologies to examine, and jargon and terminology to retain.
As a teacher you set exams, but you haven’t sat one for a long time. If you haven’t studied for a while, you might start to question yourself. Will I cope with the content? The studying? The exam?

It’s DELTA Module 1 training in manageable chunks. With plenty of time to reflect on your teaching practice, try out techniques in your classroom and get ready for the exam with confidence.
I have got a whole lot of enjoyment working with the other test-takers as a group. I have obviously got a lot of knowledge out of studying for the exams. After about five years of umming and ahhing about it, I am so glad that I found this course to get me over the finish line of taking the Module 1 exam.

International Cambridge DELTA Module 1 exam date: Wednesday 4 June 2025
- Group 1: Wednesdays, 25 September to 28 May at 09:00–10:30 UK
- Group 2: Wednesdays, 25 September to 28 May at 15:00–16:30 UK
- Group 3: Fridays, 27 September to 30 May at 10:45–12:15 UK
How much does Take Your Time DELTA Module 1 cost?
Module 1 Fee (until October 2025): 600 GBP
There is an early bird discount for applications completed and first payments received by January 31st for March start dates and July 31st for September start dates.
